Groowex AG is building a crowdlending platform that connects investors with vetted business financing projects across Switzerland and the EU — disciplined underwriting, a published fee schedule, and investor funds held separately from the platform's own accounts.
Groowex is built for investors who ask questions before they ask for yield — not for investors chasing a number they can't explain.
Plenty of platforms advertise double-digit returns, stacked on referral bonuses and loyalty multipliers, without saying where that money actually comes from. Before we list any financing project, we ask ourselves the same blunt question we'd want an investor to ask of us: who is paying for this, and out of what money?
If the honest answer is "the next wave of investors' capital" or "nobody has really checked" — we don't list it. If the answer is a specific borrower's assessed, disclosed cash flow, under a fee structure and rate ceiling you can read before you commit — that's the only basis we work from. We'd rather offer a return you can explain than one you can't.
Every financing opportunity goes through structured credit and risk assessment before it is listed, documented against our internal onboarding policy. Listing is the exception, not the default — projects that don't meet the bar don't appear.
Fees are published and fixed, disclosed before you commit — never bundled into the quoted return. Effective borrowing costs sit under a self-imposed ceiling, disciplined by Swiss anti-usury principles, so headline yields can't hide excessive total cost.
Investor funds sit in segregated settlement accounts at a licensed Swiss banking partner, held apart from Groowex's own operating funds and from other projects' funds — never commingled, never used to fund platform operations.
Our Fee Schedule is a published document, not a black box. Fees are charged to the financing project on amounts actually disbursed — never on the announced fundraising target — and every one-time fee is folded into a single, disclosed cost ceiling before a Stage can close.
Of the amount actually disbursed per Stage.
Of the amount actually disbursed per Stage.
Senior specialist / associate rate, capped at 10 hours per assessment; 50% discount on reapplication within 30 days of a decline.
Of amounts recovered on default; reduced to 5% if gross recovery covers under half of principal plus accrued interest.
Every one-time fee is annualised on a straight-line basis across the Stage term and added to the nominal rate. The result — the effective annual cost of financing — is capped at 18% (15% for consumer-facing financing), disclosed before any Stage can close, not discovered afterwards.
Investor-side servicing fee: none. Full borrower repayments pass through to investors — Groowex is remunerated by the financing project, not by a cut of investor returns.
Alongside our internal credit and risk assessment, we are building Risk Lens — an AI-based review layer that independently re-analyses a project's financials, structure and documentation before it is accepted, flagging inconsistencies or concentration risk a single human reviewer could miss. Risk Lens is a second, independently reasoned opinion, not a replacement for human underwriting or sign-off — both have to agree before a project is listed.
Built on open-source models and tooling, not a closed black box we ask you to trust on faith — the same principle behind a published Fee Schedule applied to the AI doing the reviewing. Planned to accompany platform launch.
These details can be verified independently against the Central Business Names Index (zefix.ch) and the VQF member registry. Our legal framework — platform policies, GTCs and the Fee Schedule above — is drafted with specialist Swiss fintech counsel.
